In December 2023, Tunisia and Switzerland signed an agreement on joint climate action under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The cooperation under the bilateral climate agreement and Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement involves various ministries in Tunisia and requires general knowledge on the issuance of mitigation outcomes, achieved with financial support from the KliK Foundation and used to achieve Switzerland's nationally determined contribution under the Paris Agreement.

The KliK Foundation wishes to develop additional activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Tunisia. In partnership with the Tunisian Ministry of the Environment and the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia, it is organising an ceremony and a workshop to launch the call for projects for interested stakeholders.
