On 9 December 2023, Chile has signed a bilateral climate agreement with Switzerland under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement at COP28. This forms the basis for cooperative climate action. The KliK Foundation finances the development of mitigation activities in accordance with the bilateral agreement between Switzerland and Chile. It invites mitigation activity developers and owners to submit their ideas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Chile. The KliK Foundation therefore publishes the Terms of Reference for Chile.

Chile and Switzerland have signed a bilateral climate agreement under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement. The aim is to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Chile beyond the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) that the country has set for itself.
The KliK Foundation is the carbon offset grouping for Swiss fuel importers. The KliK Foundation is committed to reduce around 20 million tonnes of CO₂e internationally. It is therefore financing the development of mitigation activities in Chile under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement. To strengthen the commitment to climate protection, the Foundation invites mitigation activity developers and owners to submit their ideas. Activities in the areas of biogas, e-mobility, green cooling, bioethanol, battery storage, organic waste, wastewater, and waste to energy are particularly welcome.
The KliK Foundation encourages interested parties to submit mitigation activity ideas in the form of a Mitigation Activity Idea Note (MAIN) for Chile, which can be submitted on our website according to the specific Terms of Reference.
Developers with mitigation activity ideas in other countries that have concluded bilateral cooperation agreements* with Switzerland are also welcome to register and submit their proposals.

Chile y Suiza han firmado un acuerdo climático bilateral en virtud del artículo 6.2 del Acuerdo de París. El objetivo es contribuir a la reducción de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) más allá de las metas definidas por Chile en su Contribución Determinada a Nivel Nacional (CDN).
La Fundación KliK es la agrupación de compensación de carbono de los importadores suizos de combustible. La Fundación KliK se ha comprometido a reducir 20 millones de toneladas de CO₂e a escala internacional. Por ello, está financiando el desarrollo de actividades de mitigación en Chile en virtud del artículo 6.2 del Acuerdo de París. Para reforzar el compromiso con la protección del clima, la Fundación invita a los desarrolladores y propietarios de actividades de mitigación a presentar sus ideas. Las actividades en las áreas de biogás, e-movilidad, refrigeración verde, bioetanol, almacenamiento de baterías, residuos orgánicos, aguas residuales y conversión de residuos en energía son particularmente bienvenidas.
La Fundación KliK invita a las partes interesadas a postular ideas de actividades de mitigación en forma de una «Nota de Idea de Actividad de Mitigación» (MAIN) para Chile, en nuestro sitio web de acuerdo con los Términos de Referencia específicos.
Los promotores con ideas de actividades de mitigación en otros países que hayan suscrito acuerdos bilaterales de cooperación* con Suiza también pueden inscribirse y presentar sus propuestas.
